Watcharin Tour

March 24, 1983
The company began its operations with a large air-conditioned first-class (Type 1B) intercity bus with 42 seats on Route 12, Bangkok – Lopburi. It was founded by Mr. Watcharin Chuchipchai, whose name became the company's name. It started as a family business with a fleet of 47 large buses, both company-owned and partnered vehicles. In the early days, the service was highly popular among passengers. However, business gradually declined due to the emergence of unlicensed van operators who illegally ran routes directly to the Victory Monument. This led to passengers shifting to van services instead of buses, eventually causing the bus service to wind down. Following the passing of the founders in 2009, Mr. Chalermpol and Mrs. Siriya Chuchipchai took over the business. Mrs. Siriya, who had 15 years of experience as the Manager of Accounting and Finance at the “Lopburi Inn Group” hotel, holds an MBA in Business Administration from Ramkhamhaeng University. She resigned from her previous position to take full charge of the transportation business after the government approved the transition from buses to 13-seat NGV vans.

November 2009
The company officially began managing the Route 12 van terminal under the name "Watcharin Tour Co., Ltd.," operating routes from both Victory Monument and Mo Chit 2 Bus Terminal. Later, the government ordered the termination of service to Victory Monument, allowing operations only at Mo Chit 2. Additionally, the government implemented a policy limiting the lifespan of public vans to 10 years, requiring conversion to mini-buses (Type 2C) with no more than 20 seats by 2020. Watcharin Tour gradually made this transition. During the COVID-19 pandemic, services were temporarily suspended. As the situation improved, the government provided relief by extending the lifespan of vans to 13 years. The company has since continued converting its vans into minibuses in line with Department of Land Transport regulations as older vans reach the end of their service life.

Present Day
Watcharin Tour Co., Ltd. is currently the main operator in Lopburi with a fleet of 14 minibuses and 10 vans. Guided by the principle that "Customers are our priority," the management is committed to improving service quality by developing an online booking and payment system to meet the needs of today’s digital era, offering greater convenience for passengers.
